Curraghwalls Farm is a  landmark farm in the area, recognized as the original farm acquired by Joe Murphy, the founder of Tayto, in the 1970s for growing his renowned potatoes. His decision to select this farm was strategic, given its excellent attributes for potato harvesting. A local potato supplier and agent guided him to this ideal location. As a result, Curraghwalls Farm became the site where many crops of Tayto potatoes flourished.
